They’ve got two albums that are just about to go platinum. A Mercury nomination for the first one, 2005’s ‘A Certain Trigger’, a fanbase that turns out in droves whenever the Newcastle five-piece performs and, in lead singer Paul Smith, a superb frontman. 

MAXIMO PARK have gone from contenders to established act with consummate ease and now, on the release of their third album, ‘Quicken The Heart’ and this high profile Main Stage set, it looks like Maximo Park are about to have the world at their feet.
